I got upgraded for a double room for free because a female dorm wasn't available. The private room looks more like a hotel room. :) It is fairly quiet but people are always going out in Northbridge, which is 5 minutes away, so you can go and party and then come home for a nice QUIET sleep. Super comfortable beds and blankets for those cold winter nights! I honestly didn't find any flaws, definetly recommend to everyone! | Female

sonster from Australia stayed here on 20th May 2010 Very sterile atmosphere, people generally only staying one night. no staff in the evening to get toilet roll filled up etc. they overcharged me and wouldn\'t give me a refund. kitchen is big and clean, showers run scalding hot then cold, music always heard from next door bar, very central for train station etc. Small courtyard and tv room ok. beds fairly comfy. Rooms a good size, no social activities for such a large hostel.dont recommend it for single travelers. $4 for washing $1 dryer 1/2hr | Female
